鸣扬机电是集设计、生产、销售、服务为一体的专业化从事船用、陆用发电机组成套的制造企业，创建于1974年2月，是美国康明斯授权的发动机特约经销商；同是浙江杭州前进齿轮箱集团授权的一级代理商。目前辖有：福建鸣扬机电有限公司、山东鸣扬机电有限公司、上海鸣扬机电有限公司及香港鸿恩兴业有限公司。注册总资本5200万元，占地39亩，建筑面积15800㎡。
公司拥有进出口自主经营权，在福建、山东建有生产基地，拥有英国进口的PT泵、喷油器，齿轮箱、发动机水功率、发电机组电功率检测设备装备；具有船用推进主机的大修及出厂检测能力，测试设备共十四个台位，可同时进行五台2000kW发电机组的并车检测；获得农业部柴油机、齿轮箱及船舶机械设备的维修资格认可，通过BV、CCS工厂型式认可及ISO9001国际质量管理体系认证，产品能提供ABS、GL、LR、KR、DNV、PRS、CCS、BV等证书，至今为国内外客户提供数千套的发电机组产品。
